Chashmashahi (royal spring), the spring of refreshing sweet water cherished by the mughals.on near by spur of the mountain is the ancient monument Parimahal, planed out by Dara Shikoh.Take the ride On the shore of Dal lake, at the top of takti-I-sulaimani hill is the ancient monument known as Shankaracharya Temple (250 BC) built on high octagonal plinth.
