Day 2: Srinagar to Gulmarg (2,370 m / 56 kms) |

After breakfast leave to Gulmarg known as "the meadows of flowers", which is located at the height of 2,370 meters above the sea level, is one of the most beautiful summer resorts in the valley. it also has the highest green golf course in the world, at an altitude of 2,650 m, and is the country's premier ski resort in the winter. One can enjoy the breathtaking natural views of snow-covered mountains through the cable car (gulmarg gondola) from gulmarg to the Khilangmarg. Full day trip, and back to Srinagar. |

Srinagar, the heart of Kashmir valley, is famous for its lakes and houseboat's. The famous Dal Lake and Mughal gardens, Nested under the mighty Zabarvan Mountains.
Half-day tour of famous Dal Lake in the shikara (boat) through golden Dal-lake char chinar, and floating gardens, and many places of interests. Nested between famous Dal-lake and zabarwan hills are famous mughal gardens with their terraced lawns, cascading fountains and bright flowerbeds, over looking the panorama of the Dal-lake.
Shalimar (15 km) is called (the abode of love), was built by Emperor Jahangir for his Beloved wife Nur Jehan. Nishat bagh (11 km) is called (the garden of pleasure), was designed in 1633 ad by Asif khan, brother of Nur Jehan. Chashmashahi (royal spring), the spring of refreshing sweet water cherished by the mughals.on near by spur of the mountain is the ancient monument Parimahal, planed out by Dara Shikoh.Take the ride On the shore of Dal lake, at the top of takti-I-sulaimani hill is the ancient monument known as Shankaracharya Temple (250 BC) built on high octagonal plinth. A part from sightseeing, Kashmir is shopper's paradise, magic Kashmir carpet, shawls and many more things.
